Easy Intaglio Printing Workshop

Have you ever wanted to etch and print your own greeting and gift cards, items for scrapbooking, mini-picture books or mounted pictures for your home and for gifts?

Have you looked at the materials needed – copper plates, acid, etching solutions, printing press etc and given up the idea? If you have, then this 5-hour workshop day is for you!

Learn some really, really easy ways to print your own designs at your kitchen table with materials and tools you probably already have at home (no, not potatoes, although they do print really well!! 😁) YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN ARTIST OR BE ABLE TO DRAW!!!

Through the day, you can make as many printing plates and prints as you want and experiment with different methods and media to achieve a look that you like. All the materials are provided and you can take everything you make home with you. The printing plates you create will print lots more copies too!

This is a beginner print-making workshop, but you can achieve truly brilliant results with the simple materials and tools we’ll use. 

The fee for the workshop includes:

• Use of all necessary tools
• Refreshments

**Do wear ‘crafting’ clothes or bring an apron – it can get messy! Gloves are provided. You might like to bring some lunch too, or Morrisons is right opposite 😊
